Handcrafted in gold, the design of this Indian necklace for women is inspired by the Guluband and features the crescent and flower motifs.
The necklace consists of 8 square units decorated with phool/flower motifs, 4 on each side of the central chaand-phool unit, all bordered with pearls. The phool are dressed in polki/uncut diamonds using the traditional jadai technique, while the chaand is set with stone, kundan-set with diamonds. Suspended from the units are pearl and polki-set strands, connected by side loops embellished with smaller pearls.
An emblem of peace and calm, the crescent moon symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power.
